If I had known this was about old films, especially Georges Méliès, I would have bought it back when it came out. I had always thought about getting it, but never got around to it. sigh
From the very start I saw amazing depth and beautiful lighting. Absolutely fabulous! That boys eyes were so…so….amazingly beautiful.
The storyline was so interesting and the characters interactions were so good. There were some great tense moments keeping you on the edge. I did love seeing the old movie footage. Such a great added bonus.

Visually stunning! Martin Scorsese proves to be highly adept at utilizing 3D in a way that feels unlike anything else seen at the time, maybe at all! A flashback in the movie legitimately had me looking for smoke in my living room. I cannot recommend this one enough, definitely in my top 5 favorite 3d movies.
