I loved the storyline. You start off on Krypton with Cal Al’s birth and the destruction of the planet, get some scenes from his childhood and growing into and adult. The acting was top notch as was the wardrobe.

The 3D would have been great if you could have ever focused on anything. The CGI would have been super cool if we could have focused on it well enough to appreciate it. I probably would have recognized more of the actors if I could have focused on their faces. Would have gotten more emotions out of them also.

Visually this is a vomit inducing shit show. It looked like a 6th grader filmed this with a cheap camera. Constant hand shake. You get zero reprieve of this. Lack of color and dark lit scenes. I absolutely hate this about the DC franchise. This is the reason I’m a Marvel Universe fan. Better cinemaphotography and real colors. The director, cinemaphotographer, and producer should be ashamed of how awful this looks. I had to stop multiple times to give myself a reprieve from all that camera shake. Now to get rid of the headache this left me with. I can’t believe this movie made money.

You get a whole disc of extras with it! But wait, why did they use a whole disc for two stinking extras? Well, they replay the whole movie with cast and crew talking about it. Pictures and videos inserted with behind the scenes footage. So that ends up being three hours. Don’t think I can handle that much more shakiness.

It should have been an easy 10 for this movie, but the awful camera work made it a 4 in my book. I know I’m going to get a lot of hate for this, but screw it. It’s true. I get that you love Superman, but the horrible cinematography ruins it.

    Solid depth. Not much pop.
