Resident Evil Afterlife 3D

Watched on my Panasonic Plasma 42″ TV

I got this movie used off of Amazon UK. Either my eyes have gone blurry and grainy or something is wrong with this disc. When I popped in the disc the other day it told me I needed a 3D bluray player and TV to view it. I tried several times that day and it would not let me watch it. Why it allowed me to today, is a mystery.

This one had a much better storyline than “Retribution”. I cared much more for the characters. There was time taken to show us the interpersonal relationships. I did not see the first movies in the series.

The 3D wasn’t as good as Retribution’s was, but this may be due to a disc defect. I know it was shot with 3D cameras. Some of these shots should have been absolutely beautiful. At the beginning of the movie was my favorite 3D effect. I like when there is a long item towards the camera just hanging out there. On “It Came From Outer Space” it was the telescope. In this movie it is a rifle. Having it there instead of throwing it at us just amazes me more.

Turn this one up while watching. You can feel that music thumping during the fight scenes. Adds so much to the tension. Made me clench my butt a few times. 🙂
